It always choose a custom install and read carefully. I actually use this PDF tool more than the Office tool as it will work with every program and let's you append an existing PDF file. If that doesn't work then you can always download and install the freebie pdf tool from. Be sure to save a copy of the SP as I would not trust that MS would
Try installing the SP3 and see if you get the PDF add-in installed at the same time. Think that the Office 2007 PDF add-in was included in the later service patches for Office 2007. A lot of my old MS resource links don't work anymore which is a real shame. My link to the add-in also does not work.
